CUNY CARES SMS Terms of Service

SMS Program Description
The CUNY CARES program ("CUNY CARES", "we", "our", "us") is operated by the City University of New York’s (CUNY) Office of Transformation and serves students in the Bronx. By opting in to receive SMS messages from CUNY CARES, you agree to receive text messages regarding:
Student support services
Benefits navigation and resource referrals
Program updates
Appointment reminders
Event reminders
Service-related notifications
Follow-up communications related to services you have requested
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your participation in CUNY CARES programs and services.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your mobile carrier and service plan.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP.
After you send STOP, you may receive a final confirmation message confirming your opt-out status. No additional SMS messages will be sent unless you voluntarily opt in again.
Carrier Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Eligibility
You represent that you are the authorized user of the mobile number provided and are authorized to consent to receive text messages at that number.
